Coming from a very poor family, Joy is an example of a dream follower. At a very young age he worked as a 'polot boy" during the San Carlos' pilota days to help his father earn for
their daily needs, giving ways his elementary education for his younger siblings, he dreamt of becoming a boxer. He worked in an oil rig in Abu Dabi and went home to settle down. Now, with dreams fulfilled, he now carves his way to fulfill
another one, Art.
With years of experience with his untiring hands, the hands that used to pick up pilota balls now makes great works made of cement, wood, metal and iron.
The obsession for details makes his works truly are creations of labor and love.
